The Great Irish Poems & Short Stories is the third complete poetry collection, and fourth publication by poet Neil J. Fox. The book features a short story collection written by his late father Jackie Fox. This collection is centred around the circle of life, and the stages we follow throughout. Each chapter represents the beginning, the middle and the end. The fourth and final the after, are the short stories written by his father. The poetry within The Great Irish Elk shares themes surrounding life, love, legacy and loss. It is a discovery of learning to appreciate the past, respect the present and nurture the future, whatever it may hold before and after life has come and gone.
