James McNiece, a private detective, is commissioned to find the very attractive missing wife of John Stafford. A simple enough case with a big pay off. But McNiece soon gets more involved with the Staffords and as the rewards become even higher so do the risks! The police know Stafford has been and still is involved in an assortment of illegal practices and suspect him of being responsible for a number of people being murdered, but because of corruption within the force, they have never been able to bring him to justice.
