Desron 3

Set against the backdrop of 1943 during World War II, the story follows the desperate plight of the ABDA fleet as they face the seemingly unstoppable Imperial Japanese Navy. With most of their forces decimated, the surviving destroyers seek refuge in a rain squall, where they regroup and tend to the wounded. After the storm clears, they are unexpectedly free from enemy pursuit, allowing them to make repairs and return to their base, highlighting themes of resilience and survival against overwhelming odds.
