Smothered Seas

Set in the year 2000, a war rages between the Asiatic Union and the United States, leading to a stalemate due to the States' naval dominance and the Union's manpower on land. The plot thickens when military scientist Lt. Richard Lester investigates a surge of algae that hampers naval passage. Complicating matters, he is in love with Sally Amber, who is suspected of espionage and faces danger from an American agent. When Lester is captured by the Asiatics, Sally must decide where her loyalties lie.
