Renowned as a leading figure of the Tang Dynasty, Li Po is celebrated for his romantic poetry that explores themes of wine, friendship, nature, solitude, and the passage of time. His extensive body of work, comprising over one thousand poems, is noted for its vivid imagery and fluid language, though he faced criticism for straying from traditional forms. A member of the "Six Idlers of the Bamboo Brook," he lived a life intertwined with literature and wine. Legend has it that he tragically drowned while trying to embrace the moon's reflection.
