Semiconductor Compounds in Single-Walled Carbon Nanotubes

Focusing on the innovative filling of Single-Walled Carbon Nanotubes (SWNTs) with various semiconductor compounds, this thesis explores the structural analysis using High Resolution Transmission Electron Microscopy (HRTEM). It details the introduction of materials such as HgTe and InSb into SWNTs, proposing and simulating models that are then compared with restored phase images, providing insights into the interactions and structural characteristics of these nanocomposite systems.
