It's Brave to Cry

The story follows Clay, a seven-year-old Black boy struggling to express his emotions. Encouraged by his father to share his feelings, Clay embarks on a quest to ask various brave individuals, including firefighters and his favorite teacher, whether they cry and why. Through these conversations, he learns that everyone has their reasons for crying and the importance of expressing oneself. Ultimately, Clay discovers that true bravery lies in acknowledging and sharing one's feelings rather than hiding them.
