Following a catastrophic explosion caused by a radiumite experiment, only eleven wealthy survivors remain, struggling to adapt to a world devoid of luxury. Led by Billy Kingdom, three of them venture out to establish the Co-operative Commonwealth, a utopian society. Sinclair's imaginative narrative explores themes of wealth, survival, and the quest for a perfect society, showcasing his most creative work.
