The Territory

Set in a flooded Britain where land is a precious commodity, the story follows Noa, who faces a critical exam at 15 that determines her fate. Success allows her to remain in the Territory, while failure means banishment to the dangerous Wetlands. Unlike wealthy families who can purchase advantages for their children, Noa, a 'Norm,' must rely solely on her own abilities to secure her future. The narrative explores themes of class disparity, survival, and the struggle for belonging in a harsh, divided society.
