Of Guns and Mules

Set against the backdrop of WWI, the story follows 18-year-old David Levi, who is deported from Palestine with his father and friends. Their fortunes change when they enlist in the Zion Mule Corps, a Jewish military unit led by the heroic Joseph Trumpeldor. As they join the British army's Gallipoli offensive, themes of camaraderie, resilience, and the struggle for identity emerge, highlighting the challenges faced by soldiers in a tumultuous historical context.
