Focusing on the dynamics of teacher-student interaction, this study examines the types of questions and feedback employed by a teacher in a Kazakhstani secondary classroom teaching English as a Foreign Language. It highlights the importance of teacher talk in fostering a dialogic classroom, allowing students to express themselves.
