Focusing on the literary and philosophical implications of Cabala during the Renaissance, this study examines key figures such as Agrippa, Dee, and Milton, highlighting the tradition's impact from 1490 to 1690 and its modern relevance. By analyzing Cabala's hermeneutic approach to Biblical texts, the author employs postmodernist theory to reveal how it challenged Renaissance authority. The work also explores the mystical aspects of literature and connects reincarnation theories to the seventeenth-century English Cabalistic circle, offering insights into the tensions of the period.
