North Is the Night

In a darkly mythical setting inspired by Finnish folklore, two young women, Siiri and Aina, confront the threats of encroaching settlers and a zealous priest as summer fades. When Aina is captured by a death goddess and taken to Tuonela, Siiri embarks on a perilous quest to rescue her. In the underworld, Aina faces torment from the Witch Queen while uncovering the king's intentions for her. The story weaves themes of love, bravery, and the struggle against fate as Siiri and Aina fight for their bond and survival.
