Europeanizing Civil Society

The role of the European Union is pivotal for Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), as EU officials and political entrepreneurs have significantly influenced funding and access opportunities. However, despite their efforts, these entities struggle to effectively leverage CSOs for their own agendas, highlighting a disconnect between institutional intentions and the actual capacity to engage with civil society.
