Focusing on glacial-geomorphological research, this book presents a comprehensive analysis of four decades of field studies in Central and High Asia. It establishes a significant connection between Quaternary science and paleoclimatology, utilizing recent geomorphological findings. The work culminates in a large-scale reconstruction of the Last Glacial Maximum (LGM), revealing that its extent in High Asia covered approximately three million square kilometers, highlighting the region's climatic history.
