The plot follows Hal Jordan as he journeys to Mars with two Green Lantern Corps teammates to uncover the secrets of a mysterious crater. With his companions captured, Hal faces a critical choice: succumb to his anger, which would empower Atrocitus and threaten Earth, or find a way to resist and save his friends. The story explores themes of control, power, and the struggle against inner demons.
