The story follows Gill Swanley, who takes up gardening as a remedy for menopause, only to find herself embroiled in a mystery. Joining the Bromley chapter of The Golden Trowel Gardening Society, she becomes part of a quirky group led by the competitive Mike 'Potato' Berisford. Their aspirations for the National Gardening Club of the Year Award are jeopardized when a body is discovered in the greenhouse and threats emerge. The group must unravel the mystery behind the rivalry with Croydon and protect their newfound passion.
