Smart Cities as a Green Growth model. The case of Fujisawa Sustainable Smart Town

Focusing on the challenges faced by larger cities in implementing Smart City initiatives, this paper examines Fujisawa Sustainable Smart Town, a project by Panasonic. Located in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, it aims to create a small-scale Smart City designed for approximately 1,000 households. The study highlights how this model can serve as a practical example for sustainability in urban development, showcasing innovative solutions tailored to a manageable size.
