Viac o knihe
The book examines how airline operations might respond to environmental policy measures aimed at reducing aviation's impact. It simulates passenger and traffic flows across U.S. airports from 2005 to 2030 under various policy scenarios. Findings reveal that while airport capacity constraints significantly affect passenger demand and flight delays, local airport impacts can be even more pronounced. Additionally, while higher landing fees could reduce air traffic, new fuel-efficient technologies may paradoxically increase it due to lower operating costs.
