In a bid to eliminate challenges in their lives, Josh Kerrigan and his autistic step-cousin Dawn are sent to Solferino to work for Foodlines. They become part of a small training group involved in what appears to be scientific research and exploration, all while under the scrutiny of the company. As they navigate this new environment, they must confront the complexities of their relationship and the true nature of their mission.
