The doctoral thesis introduces an innovative method for assessing landslide risk, emphasizing an integrated perspective that utilizes landslide databases and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Central to this approach is a landslide susceptibility model that identifies high-risk areas and evaluates infrastructure vulnerability. It combines temporal hazard analysis, based on frequency statistics and hydrological simulations, with a comprehensive toolset for cost modeling that estimates damage costs over time. This research aims to enhance understanding of landslide risks and their economic implications.
