Using Childrens Literature in Primary Classroom for ELT

Focusing on the integration of literature in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classrooms, this study examines the use of "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" as a key resource. It discusses the reading process, topic-centered learning, and CLIL, aligning with the Hungarian National Curriculum. The research includes analysis of primary classroom applications, survey results, and children's insights. A practical guide offers recommendations for post-reading activities and cultural integration, ultimately aiming to empower educators by linking theory with effective teaching practices.
