Set against the backdrop of the Montana Territory, the story centers on Jawn Ridley, a powerful cattle and mining magnate, who seeks the assistance of the notorious Pecos Kid to tackle a pressing rustling issue. However, the Kid has no intention of helping and is on his way to Idaho with his companions. The plot thickens when Ridley's foreman captures them, forcing the Kid to confront a dilemma that intertwines his principles with the demands of a formidable adversary.
