Focusing on the management of ICT systems in large secondary schools, this research investigates two New Zealand schools with different decile ratings. Through interviews with ICT managers and teaching staff, it reveals the complexities of their management structures and strategic planning. The study highlights the roles of the Director of ICT and the ICT Committee, providing insights into how these schools align their ICT resources. The findings raise important questions and observations for further exploration in the field of ICT management in education.
