Focusing on ecological restoration, this study investigates the interplay between carbon storage and biodiversity conservation within the TMRP. Through interviews with 13 stakeholders, including project managers and landholders, the research identifies complementary requirements for both restoration types. However, it highlights specific distinctions in the selection, composition, and diversity of restoration plantings, emphasizing the nuanced challenges faced in achieving multiple ecological objectives. The findings contribute valuable insights into effective restoration practices and stakeholder perspectives.
