Set in 2450 BC, the narrative follows Inanna, the Goddess of love and war, as she embarks on a quest to reclaim women's status, guided by her grandmother Ishtar. Accompanied by a friend and a eunuch, Inanna faces a near-fatal challenge that leaves her vulnerable. In Kish, they discover the troubling rise of the hero Gilgamesh, prompting a collaboration with High Priestess Nin to strategize his downfall. Their mission is fraught with danger, especially from Gilgamesh's vengeful mother, threatening their very lives.
