Exploring the contentious debate over free will, this work examines the perspectives of influential theologians Luther, Calvin, and Edwards, addressing their objections to the concept. Key issues such as foreknowledge, human depravity, and divine sovereignty are discussed, demonstrating how the doctrine of free will aligns with biblical teachings. The author critiques the rationalistic arguments presented by Edwards and concludes with a summary of the fundamental differences in salvation doctrines between Arminianism and Calvinism, providing a comprehensive theological analysis.
