Focusing on disability inclusion in humanitarian crises, this study examines the recognition and integration of persons with disabilities in international law and humanitarian efforts. It analyzes how international organizations advocate for a rights-based approach to disability and its acceptance in policy and practice. The authors investigate the processes of institutionalization and implementation from a multi-level perspective, involving diverse actors, including disability organizations. They emphasize the need for deeper exploration of grassroots processes to enhance understanding of disability inclusion in international relations and law.
