By analyzing parental class characteristics from 1971 and 1981 alongside children's outcomes in 2001, it sheds light on the often-overlooked patterns of mobility within Britain's minority ethnic groups. Additionally, it explores the role of religion in enhancing the understanding of social mobility among these communities, making a significant contribution to policies aimed at reducing inequality.
