This presence sparked diverse reactions among Arabs, influencing their perspectives on the West and shaping literary representations of the "Other." The book examines how these encounters are portrayed in six fictional works from both Anglo-American and Arab literature between 1991 and 2001, analyzing the lasting impact of the war on cultural narratives and imagery.
