Focusing on the evolution of U.S. foreign policy towards developing nations, this work analyzes the challenges faced by these countries in the post-Cold War context. It evaluates U.S. strategies across various regions, including Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East, providing insights into policy objectives related to economic and security matters, particularly after 9/11. The contributors discuss both the successes and failures of U.S. approaches, while also exploring the roots of anti-Western sentiment in the Third World linked to these policies.
