It examines energy and water distribution networks, addressing which control tasks local feedback controllers can achieve under strict constraints. The monograph surveys analysis methods for large-scale systems and the design of decentralized controllers, highlighting conditions for solving control problems like stabilizing composite systems through isolated control stations.
