It builds on earlier foundational concepts introduced in the author's previous book, enhancing the study of differential geometry of surfaces in 3-space. Key additions include the concept of parallelism as defined by Levi-Civita, enriching the mathematical framework and offering deeper insights into geometric properties and relationships.
