The gathering storm

Tarmon Gai’don, the Last Battle, approaches, and mankind is unprepared. The final volume of the Wheel of Time was partially written by Robert Jordan before his passing in 2007, with Brandon Sanderson selected to complete it. Due to its vast scope, this conclusion is presented in three parts, starting with the first novel. This sequence will finalize the struggle against the Shadow, closing a journey that began nearly twenty years ago. In this epic tale, Rand al’Thor, the Dragon Reborn, strives to unite fractured kingdoms and alliances for the Last Battle while contending with the Seanchan invasion. He seeks a temporary truce with the invaders, even as his allies fear the darkness growing within him. Meanwhile, Egwene al’Vere, the Amyrlin Seat of the rebel Aes Sedai, finds herself imprisoned by the White Tower's tyrannical leader. As the Seanchan attack looms, she works to unify the Aes Sedai factions while navigating increasing uncertainty and despair. Her leadership will test the strength of the Aes Sedai and determine the future of the White Tower—and potentially the world. The Wheel of Time continues to turn, with the threat of Shadow looming over all.
