This work examines the traditional ways in which power has been abused as a tool to dominate others physically, sexually, politically and spiritually. It proposes an alternative path, the hara power, after the ancient Eastern teaching that the hara centre in the stomach is where the soul resides. The hara is also the perfect point of balance between the physical and spiritual worlds. The book demonstrates how, in both personal and political life, the inner fusion of the archetypal masculine and feminine engeries holds the key to the kind of power the world needs now.
