The Potential of an Unconditional Basic Income within Social Security Systems in Europe

This Master's Thesis explores the potential of Universal Basic Income (UBI) to enhance social security systems in the UK, Germany, and Sweden. It argues that UBI can address traditional and new risks, improve effectiveness and efficiency, alleviate poverty, and promote social cohesion, ultimately supporting the aims of existing policies.
