Abstract: Over 350 19th century line drawings depicting a wide range of food-related activities, individual illustrations of foods, and serving and cooking utensils comprise this collection of design ideas on the subject of food and drink. Activity scenes show people of all ages, countries and social classes cooking, dining or feasting on occasions from the elegant to the ordinary, from the comical to the sentimental.
