This is one of the best publications of its kind in China, including all the 30 world heritage sties in China on the UNESCO list. The text gives a detailed description of each site, its unique cultural value, and related cultural relics, history, geography and natural conditions. The photos are selected from 2,000 photos taken by nearly 100 veteran photographers throughout the country. It is a deluxe photo album with emphasis placed on both artistic value and cultural connotation.
