Two seemingly solitary woodland creatures are so absorbed in their own busy lives that they miss (by a whisker each time) the friend that they wish they had. But, through the efforts of two little bugs, the reader, and a dramatic chance meeting, Rabbit and Squirrel's lives happily collide and friendship is found!
