Set in Ice Age Europe, the story unfolds as two Neanderthal and two Homo sapiens tribes face turmoil when the warlike Shiv tribe attacks. Moctu, Nuri, and Nindai of the Nerean tribe are caught in the chaos while retrieving Moctu's hybrid baby, Elka. The narrative explores themes of love, survival, and the complexities of tribal relationships as the characters confront their fears and discover truths about themselves and their adversaries amidst the struggle.
