While vacationing in the Poconos, private investigator Robin Miller is hired by her friend Noreen Finnegan, who is later found dead after quarreling with her ex-lover the night before, so Robin looks for clues both in Noreen's past and among the local people, who don't quite know how to react to the gay and lesbian newcomers
