This is one of a series of graded readers for elementary to intermediate level English, designed to lead into levels 4 and 5 of Simple Stories. A tree full of enormous spiders, curtains like a dead man's hair, an old man with no eyes and a boy with no heart. These are some of the stories in this collection. There are approximately three pages of pre- and post-reading exercises in this book.
