The series has been reissued to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the first publication of 'Tomorrow, When the War Began' (1993). In this volume narrator Ellie and her friends go camping in a secluded area of the bush, named Hell, near the rural town in which they live. On their return they learn of the invasion and that they are among the few that have not been taken captive. Next in the series is 'The Dead of the Night'.
