Drakkon, the dragoneater, and me

Drakkon, the Dragoneater, and Me is a story sprung from the imagination of picture book author, Cheryl Chapman. She usually lives in Chicagoland, but once upon a time she visited a little ruin of a castle in Germany called Drachenfels. On the way, there was a cave. And the "hill" on which the cave sits is actually an extinct volcano! - Suddenly? The story of a dog, with the heart and soul of a dragon, who is probably a real dragon (you decide), jumped into her heart. Cheryl Chapman's author workshops always include conversations about where story ideas come from, and children often reply "From my imagination." - So, in honor of all young storytellers and storywriters everywhere, this joyful tale is her tribute to their imaginations!
