Lovely Suffolk

This book contains snapshots from my holiday in Suffolk. This beautiful area of England was painted by two of the most famous British artists. It has charm and is appealing. But not being far away from Cambridge and London is has not attracted many tourists yet and is off the beaten track. That is why it stayed unspoilt and natural. There are house boats in the harbour, a mill with an art gallery, a nice tea shop and a majestic castle over towering minuscule looking buildings that are painted pink. The dutch seafarers left the thatched roofs as a remembrance of their appearance. The ancient fortresses are still intact but a strong reminder of a brutal past. Palm trees are lining beach avenues and Fish and Chip shops cater for the sun seekers.
