Unser ständiger Begleiter - das Handy - dringt immer mehr in unseren Alltag ein. Eine ganz wesentliche Eigenschaft, die damit eröffnet wurde, ist die Fotografie mit dem Mobiltelefon. Mit 150 ausgewählten Handy-Fotos zeigt der Frankfurter Fotograf Peter Loewy einen Einstieg in dieses junge Thema. An essential achievement that the mobile phone has brought us ist the digital mobile telephone camera. Initially treated with condescension, it now has cult status. It was therefore an obvious step to adress this topic from both an artistic and scholarly perspective in an exhibition and in this book. With a selection of 150 works by the Frankfurt photographer Peter Loewy, we examine the extent to which mobile phone photography after almost 200 years.
