Leyla Salm is a Dutch Designer who is active in Fine and Applied Art with a little inspiration from the Art Nouveau en Art Deco era. Leyla Salm comes from a long line of national and international renowned artists and architects of which the most famous are father and son G. B. Salm and A. Salm. Together they designed and build lot's of famous buildings throughout Europe. The most famous buildings in the Netherlands are the Krasnapolsky Winter-garden, the pop-temple Paradiso and huge sections of the Amsterdam zoo Artis. Her grandfather was a gifted painter, who was a member of the Laren school (an artist group) She herself is the most famous descendant of this family, with works sold nationally and internationally. Inspired by the Art Deco and Art Nouveau period, but with a distinct own style.
