In his poetic monochrome compositions, Jan Paul Evers pursues the technical and creative possibilities of photography. Assembling his own as well as found artwork in the darkroom, he uses both classic and experimental techniques to coax new objects and spatial situations from the medium. In so doing, he not only focuses on the history and technique of photography; in view of the complete availablility of images today, his one-off reations pose the question of how the medium itself should be handled.0Exhibition: Museum Villa Stuck, München, Germany (16.01-23.03.2014).
