Regional integration in Africa

This book is involved with describing and analyzing regional integration in Africa giving special attention to one such grouping, the East African Community. The book has outlined the regional integration process in Africa in both historical manner and taking an analytical root. The analysis used is a multi disciplinary framework to capture some of the salient features of some regional grouping in Africa and East African Community in particular. The report also looks at other organizations that have a bearing to regional integration such as WTO. The results show that there have been considerable efforts to integrate Africa and still there are organizations and programs geared towards this goal such as NEPAD and African Union.
