Intertextuality is explored through Heinrichs von dem Türlin's "Crône" and the dialectics of history and narration in Rudolf von Ems's early work "Guten Gerhart." The text also examines Alexander's representation in Ulrichs von Etzenbach's montage and literary contexts in the late medieval novel "Friedrich von Schwaben."
